How TMS works
In the TMS system, temperature sensors are fitted to multiple pallets in a truck, along with a gateway. Each sensor talks to the gateway at certain predefined intervals, and the gateway pushes the data into the hardware provider's cloud. Data from the provider is then pushed on to the application cloud, as the sensors and gateways are preconfigured to communicate.
TMS tracks and monitors the temperature of every pallet in the truck. It provides alerts and notifications to the back office so that corrective action can be taken if the temperature is not being maintained appropriately for perishable food products.

The web-based application helps users configure data, create routes, and allocate travel plans to be executed on schedule.
